In Addition to the surgical treatment of obesity, his practice involves a wide range of minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery, also works in hernias repair, gallbladder removal (open and laparoscopic) and the surgical treatment of spleen and adrenal disorders.
He also toke a training in Minimally invasive surgery at University of Guadalajara sponsored by the Mexican Association of laparoscopic Surgery in Addition Dr. Corrales did a Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA with the Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians Inc. One of the most succesful Bariatric groups at USA and an institution recognized by the American board of Surgery. Also Dr. Corrales is a Surgeon certified bye the Mexican College of surgeons.
